You guys mean the world to me. Thank you all for making my day, from time to time. I know I can't give you much..but here is a very simple recipe..that I even made this year for a gift are two along with a pancake mix.
Simple Brown Sugar Syrup:
Dump 1 cup packed brown sugar in a small saucepan. I like to add a dash of salt but that's optional. Add a very scant 1/2 cup water (about 1-2 tablespoons less than 1/2 cup). If you like a bit of honey taste, add a tablespoon or two of honey.
You don't even have to refrigerate it.
