Wee Bits

We had to give up our family cat today. This is when Missy was in her prime. Although she became Kirstie Alley of the Siamese world. She loved beer, wine and avocados. These were things she loved to get into.

She never actually caught a bird, yet picked up a dead one and put it in my mother's closet.

Her previous owner had two small children so she was really frightened. I used to babysit those kids and when they moved we got the cat. She was a nervous cat. She would be purring but the next thing you knew she would bite you. We learned to think of those as love bites, over the years.

Perhaps she started gaining weight when she was spayed. I think it was because she was spayed past the time she should have been spayed. Her papers said she was neutered when we got her, but apparently not. Still, she never had kittens. I think my Mom wished she'd had had at least one litter.

She will be missed. She was fifteen years old.
