wee bit of Wednesday

This is what I want from the Jones Brothers Cupcake place. These macroons are hard to come by where I live.

Its just so hot. Sorry to complain. But hitting a 100 and muggy can mean a headache, or people choking up. A co-worker's asthma was really bad, yesterday. Another who's allergies were fierce. Ugh....some think it might be the smoke from the fires coming from Colorado.

I did see my friend J, other day. He normally wears his hair very traditional Lakota Sioux. I have a feeling his Mom never let him cut it. But..to my surprise, its chin length and dye red. Wow. He smiled so much when I told him I liked it. We talked a little about his summer. He's been helping a friend move from Lawerence. I was so sure he'd be moving there, but he's not. Nothing like catching up with a friend.

Caleb is still moving out of his apartment. He is back home. His girlfriend might be moving to California to be with her Dad. So I'm thinking he might move there too. He swears he's not. He paid an extra month rent just so their cat would have a place to stay. Can you believe that? Anyway, they found a taker.

My supervisor had to put her cat down, but since she has like a year's worth of kitty litter..she's going to adopt one the day after the 4th.

OK, I took the plunge. Its soo messy, I might not ever do this again. I've heard tape helps around the fingers when you do this. And its also great if you want to get rid of a fingernail polish you don't like. 1. in a cup of water but your polishes in. I used 4 colors from Sally Hansen(red, white, blue & silver). 3. swirl around the paints with a tooth pick. 4. dip fingers in..and let dry.
