true grit

True Grit opens to day. I'm not sure why I want to see it, but I do. I don't know if I saw the original so it'll be all new to me. Honestly, I think it'll be fresh and very real of the times it was written in..on the prairie.

I do like reading Little House on the prairie stories. Al thought, I know this is definitely not Little House.

A few years ago I read Laura Engalls Wilder's The Early Years..when, she and Alfonzo were striking it out on their own. And, their hard times. How he got sick and she had to do a lot of the farming. She lost their first son, then there was a house fire. It seemed how one wealthy couple wanted to buy their daughter due to all their sad income from what they had endured. Really, she was quite a fighter. That's true grit.
